Rights of Girls Education
Not letting girls go to school and get an education is like only getting to eat once a week. In some countries girls aren’t allowed to go to school, this is not a good thing, we need to work together to overcome this problem.
It is astonishing that people don’t want girls to go to school. When people don’t let girls go to school it can cause some problems in their lives. It just makes their life harder because they don’t get the right amount of education every person needs. Another side effect of this is that some of the girls go and make bad choices like early marriage, gender-based violence, and discriminatory laws. In my opinion this is a very bad thing. I feel like everyone should have the right to a fair education. That way we live in an equitable world. According to the article “Malala: Symbolizing the Right of Girls Education” women represent two thirds of the world’s illiterates.
There are ways to solve this problem, one way is for everyone to come together and understand the problem. People can do this by having protests, making posters, and having meetings about the problem. They can have an advocacy to let girls go to school. I find that this solution would work because if the problem gets noticed more as a bad thing people will want it to stop happening. Another circumstance that this solution solved was slavery. The more it was acknowledged by the people, the more it helped to stop it.
In some countries girls aren’t allowed to go to school, this is not a
good thing, we need to work together to fix this problem. If we fix this problem it can improve the world. It can also help improve gender equality so girls don’t feel like they are a lesser person. I have aspiration that people that impeded girls from going to school will stop.
